What I did with my Sunday:)
Mile 5-wearing a visor and a tank and just beginning to sweat. Yes, the light in my basement is blinding and I NEED the visor....
Mile 7-starting to sweat profusely and finally feeling as though my legs are connected to my body-just a little tight today:) I'm loving the "Enjoy" sign in the background. Perhaps I should spin the treadmill around so I can look at it....
Mile 11-now supersaturated in sweat. Starting to think -100 degrees does not sound all bad!
Mile 13-Shirt off, down to the sportsbra-still wearing the visor and wondering how many more times I can listen to "Who Dat Girl" by Flo Rida. Also considering punching myself in the chin as can be seen by my left arm....
Mile 15. Visor saturated and removed. Considered even removing the sportsbra since it doesn't serve much of a purpose....My daughter and her friends were taking these pictures. Perhaps that would have been a little creepy!
Finally Done! 20.1 miles on legs that felt like trash after my suicide attempts with 3 way lunges and the synthetic ice treadmill. Finished my first week run ENTIRELY on the treadmill and rewarded myself with 2 cups of coffee-Woohoo! Mark my words, I will NEVER run an entire week on the treadmill again:)
So you know, I must truly feel comfortable with you people to post pictures of myself in completely unattractive, sweaty disgustingness!! Happy Monday!

AHHH I loved every second of this. WOMAN, You are so sexy!!! I wish we could do our treadmill runs together. Love Flo RIda ha! You are amazing for pounding out 20.1 miles on tired legs. Do your kids just come stare at you and ask you why you are so crazy while you run on the treadmil. Visor to block out the blinding light...brilliant. By the way can I please have your legs? Thanks.
AWESOME!
and I agree with the hungry runner girl: looking good lady :)
Jenn, You are MY HERO!!!!!
Haha
I loved the pics. I think I could run braless too, except that I would want to wear a shirt and that would cause some chafing issues.
The last pic is classic. No wonder you sweat so much- you are running indoors! And...How many times do you get off that thing in 20 miles? I would have to make a couple of "stops" just to unlayer and spit. Maybe you don't do that...
20.1 miles on a treadmill and the fact that you ran like 70 miles last week on a treadmill is crazy. How are you doing with the cold? I never had a chance to comment on your last post, so I will just do it here.....that skating contraption is intense. Congrats on the mile swim...doesn't it take forever? I would like to joina master swim program and get back in the pool...have a great day!
Simply awesome. Love seeing the pictures and despite sweat you look so totally in your element = so happy. I did 20 mins today and was pretty glad about that too.
HAHA! I love this post so much! Good for you, I would never, ever be able to run that long on a treadmill, nor would I ever look that good while running 20 miles on a treadmill. Great, fantastic, awesome job!
I hope you get a chance to get outside and enjoy the "warmer" (haha!) weather this week!
YAY for long mill runs!!!!
Love it!
Mile 13 must have been your turnaround point because you look the furthest away.
I'm your newest follower. Awesome running...but so crazy that it was all on the treadmill! I get sSOO bored after 6 miles. Thanks for the inspiration!
WOOHOOOO!!! You ROCK, Chica!!
Ok, so question...I have done a few 20ers on the TM and I am stock-piled full of gels, protein bars, water, electrolytes - it's like a small feast by my feat. I see nothing. NOTHING. Please tell me you ate something? And please tell me you didn't run 6 min/miles.
holy crap! impressive!! i've never ran more than 8 miles on the treadmill and that was bad enough! I was thinking about you this morning, the weather in Boston was -2 with a windchill of -27...don't know how you guys do it, simply amazing!!! take care!
Kudos to you...I usually drop the shirt a mile in because it gets too warm on the treadmill. 20.1 is a long way to run in one spot!
Awesome job in there girl! My 11 pales in comparison. But who's comparing right?
Can I just say that you look like you are ENJOYING it! I agree with "in your element". Don't take that the wrong way... lol.
You do look fabulous and fabulously happy throughout! WTG on that monster-mill run!
oh my word!!! that far on a treadmill. i die.
i have low ceilings in my basement, so i actually run with the lights off because the light feels so close to my face. i've never thought of the visor...maybe i should try that next time.
Wow. That is amazing. 20 miles on a treadmill, I can't even imagine!
Dude,
That's crazy. But I LIKE it!
Dreadf***er!!!! HAHAHA!
Kickass....
You crack me up! I wish you lived closer!
You rock. Reminds me of winter 95/96 when, as a new mom, I did almost all my running on the treadmill (often with the baby carrier on the floor beside) including a few 20 milers. Crazy.
You look flippin AmAzing!!! You arms, legs and you look like you're happy all the way! Love this little window into your run Jenn. talk about someone who can run without a bra...that would be me and no joke. :) I don't know that I ever would want to run this far on a TM. What pace do you run for your long runs?
Can not imagine doing that! Wow! Love the comfort level! Very funny.
Not a lot of runners are willing to do a 20 miler on the mill, but I'm with ya on that one. Nothing wrong with a little sweat either.
That was amazing ... great workout! 20mi in one place, that's awesome!
you are crazy...! IN A GOOD WAY..are you related to Janae? the 2 of you and the endless run on the machine! I admire you so much..espacially after running my first half now...WOW~!
Way to go Jenn! Great pics! :)
I'm starting to dig the 'mill more and more. I think it provides such a nice level of consistancy (obviously) that any run can be doable on it no matter what... Great job! my longest on the mill is 10 miles so far (barefoot tho, for whatever that counts)
HA 7 pee stops in a 5 hour car ride....we are SO alike! We should do roadtrips together so I feel more normal. I will have to try "Cupcake" in Charleston. Yes, you have to eat them right away ha!!! I love that you caught that I was on my moms bed after a run and obviously no shower...oops! Have a great day gorgeous girl! Runners World told me they wanted you treadmill running pics for the magazine...something about you are perfect and beautiful and tiny and strong!
You did it! Awesome! Love the pics!
hahahaha. may as well not wear the bra. well, if i was the friend of the daughter i would be glad you kept it on. i know we all have the same parts but, guess i'm just modest.
way to rock 20 on the 'mill! you are amazing. and those facial expressions are beautiful.
Great pics! 20 miles on the mill seems so intimidating. You look fabulous, of course. Love the pic with your legs...look like they are never ending:)
So you don't like the Xtranormal movies? I think they are hilarious!
Congrats on the run.
BTW, I'd rather look like you on the treadmill then me on a good day. I'm totally jealous. Great pics!
YES< thank you very, bery much for not removing the sports bra..20 miles...honey, you are amazing. Just like all these comments say, "You are our hero!"
Wish I could look so HO afer all hose miles! Sorr, I swear I'm no calling ou a Ho!! Supid keboard!
Seriously? I wish I looked that awesome after a 20 mile run!!! This post was too cute! Love that your daughter took the pictures. I bet they had fun!
Have a great day!
You are so freaking awesome girl!!!! WOW. If you are having whore winters, how in the crap are you so dang tan and hot!?! I run on the treadmill at the dark cardio cinema at my gym because my skin is blinding...please share your secret asap. And if you tell me it's natural...i might hate you. ;) (like that is even possible.)
Wow, You're awesome!
I get sick of the treadmill after 3 miles!
