Good morning! And that it is because once again I am home alone drinking coffee, not working while my kids are in school! I do work, and I'm not overly lazy but I love these few mornings when my plate is not entirely full!
So-I have nothing important to say so will go back to my endless babble about nothing and touch on what's going on around here.
First of all, thank you so much Lindsay for asking about my text life! I had actually placed that into the vault in the back of my brain that I was trying to forget....Ha! Yes, the throat is closing off again just thinking about that....
I'm kicking myself for not running ahead and introducing myself to Julie http://minnesotamilage.blogspot.com/at the marathon. She is a sweetheart, what are the chances I will randomly bump into her again. Caught me offguard when my friend pointed her out and for whatever reason I didn't! Sorry Julie-fortunately you are from MN and I guess there is the chance we will meet at a race again!!
My kids are back in hockey 3 days week until November 8th in which they will go every day and start traveling. Am I ready for this? We'll see.
The picture I posted, someone asked and my hair was up! It is actually quite long and almost jet black right now. I'm having a bit of a hate relationship with it.
I'm starting to feel more confident about the running. I feel no pain and I think my days of this painstakingly difficult recovery are finally over. I do not wish this upon my worst enemy. Anyone who hasn't checked out Beth's blog at http://shutupandrun.net should check it out and offer her some encouragement. She's going through the same thing right now and has had to forgo her marathon this weekend. I get a pit in my stomach just thinking about the emotions she's dealing with right now. This girl is fit and determined and many of you will see her back on April 18th running the Boston marathon in full form! I wish her the VERY best!!
On Monday of this next week, I will start posting my workouts on my daily mile counter again and start blogging about my actual running. I'm so thankful for the many encouragers I've met on here and know that totally helped keep me going through the Minnesota winter last year!
OK-a few more things. Babble babble.
Lacy http://blog.lacyjhansen.com/ ran a 3:19 marathon last weekend. 2nd female!! Awesome job!!!!
Ana Maria from http://runningliving.blogspot.com/ is running a marathon this weekend-Baystate! This girl is a SUPER motivator for me and I've followed her for a long time! When I feel tired and lazy I think about all the swimming and biking and crap she's doing..... I am so pumped to see how she does this weekend-AMAZING I'm sure!! Good Luck!
Bethany and Ryan are also running Baystate. http://ourloveontherun.blogspot.com/I was fortunate enough to meet these two lovebirds in Boston and they are about the world's cutest couple. Both are going for PR's and I think they'll both get it.
Meg's hubby is running this weekend and I imagine she'll be the world's best spectator!! http://megrunsalot.blogspot.com/ If he qualifies sounds like the 2 of them will be off to Boston together. I love Meg's blog-also got to meet her in Boston! Another great motivator for me, just a great great person! I am cheering from afar for BS who seems like a super guy as well!
Katie A. http://one-run-at-a-time.blogspot.com/ runs more races than ANYONE! She is another Boston meetup! She's running Long Beach this weekend and gearing up for that BQ once again. Good Luck Katie-You can definitely do it!!
Aron from http://www.runnersrambles.com/ is running a half marathon in prep for CIM. I'm not sure that she's racing this entirely but best of luck for a good training run at least!!
There are so many more people running this weekend now that fall is upon us and so I'm gonna seal it up and send out one big GOOD LUCK to all those I didn't get to. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Here's my kiddo before school this morning! Always makes me smile!

Thanks so much for the shout out: I can use all the support I can get as I sit here with my coffee and crutches. Not my favorite combination. I just sent you an email too. You have been so helpful to me and I want you to know that!!

You are the sweetest! Thanks for giving my hubby a shout out, your hubby's awesome run was motivating to him so thanks for the extra wishes!
When I heard about Beth, I thought of you immediately and you're a living example of working through it, although I'm sure it wasn't easy.
Yipee, you're back!
Meg
