You know the drill....

So, I'm sure you've come to accept, even EXPECT that my Monday posts will be nothing more than bullet updates. I would hate to disappoint....

*Traveled 12 hours round trip to Blaine for the MN Elite Classic Tournament this weekend. The girls played great and I was proud mama once again.

*Gas is atrocious and I need to get a Prius or something....Will a Prius hold 3 hockey bags?

*Read 2 books that required zero thought but I thoroughly enjoyed them.

*Did absolutely no cardio at all. Strictly pushups and situps and a new exercise I've entitled "hand to mouth" I did A LOT of reps of this one...I find that Cadbury mini eggs are the best mini weights!!

*Heard my name announced over the Target loudspeaker to come to customer service. Apparently, I had a missing child. I had no idea he was even gone. In fact, I didn't even remember bringing him with me.....

*Bought 4 sundresses because it's 28 degrees and time to bring out the flip flops.

*Went birthday shopping for my daughter who will be 13 on Thursday. Where oh where does the time go.....

*Ran 5 slow miles on the treadmill last night. My first run in 8 days. I felt like I weighed 200 pounds and I ended up with an extremely tight shin but the foot cooperated.

*Went out for 12 easy miles today which turned into 16 moderate miles and I felt ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!! Back on track!

*Had water literally squirt out my nose while laughing in the elementary school hallway today thanks to Amanda! Nobody was staring at me, nobody at all......

*Getting extremely excited to go away this weekend with my hubby and our friends!!!!

*Getting slightly nervous for my pushup challenge tomorrow. 3 minutes on the clock-as many as I can do! No knees, tongue to the floor-ha! This is an all in fun little wager between a few friends. Nothing really on the line but pride!! That being said, I'm a poor loser-ha!

Have a good night y'all! More thoughtful post tomorrow perhaps:)

I can't believe you are walking away from this post without telling us WHAT made you squirt water out of your nose! lol

I think you could get the hockey bags into the Prius... but then the kids wouldn't fit ;-)

So glad to hear your foot is so much better! Awesome that you were able to do 16 and felt so great! Yay!

Love that Target story... been there :P

Good luck w/ the push-up challenge! Go, Jenn!

So funny that I know 1. what made you squirt water out of your nose (but didn't know that you did that then) and 2. what books you read. Ha! Love it!

I really should post that picture on facebook. Perhaps I will.

Good luck with those push ups. I really wish you'd take my advice and video tape it just for me! Come on! We all want to see it!

So excited for you and your getaway with your husband! This is awesome.
And I'm sooo glad you are back to running!

Hoping to hear about your push ups tomorrow! Off to post that picture.

When is Cadbury going to change the name to Cadbury Mini Weights? That would open up a whole new market and they could sell them year round. The Target story is so funny! Good luck with the push-up competition!

I love those cadbury mini eggs. By far, they are my fav form of weight lifting!
Definately more details are needed on the water squirting incident. Do tell....
And it is no big deal if you loose a child as long as he is found. Which he clearly was!

The Target story is too funny. My mom brain would totally do something like that, too!

I almost argued with the guy at the gas station the other day when he told me how much my total came to. I didn't think it could be right!!

Is the target story true?

I have a prius and yet it can hold a ton :)

Boy, do I ever need a prius too...:)

Sixteen miles?!? Good Golly!!!That must have felt FANTASTIC. =D Foot better =D =D (happy dance!)

I would lose my kids in Target if I didn't put half of them in a cart against their will. They like to hide in the racks, much to my dismay. :/.

Yeeehaww for the tourney!

Double Yeeeehaaaw for back to running! It's going to be a great adventure to watch =D

Uh...I can't wait to see your push-up VIDEO POST!!!!!

SO excited about the push up challenge. I am with Amanda, you need to videotape it. And, of course, you need to win!

So happy for the 16 miler! Yay, you are back! I need to get inspired by you and become more serious about strength training. My 40 min/week routine is boring and I procrastinate on the push ups (I hate them and convince myself that swimming is enough of a work out for the arms).

Have a blast next weekend!

I travel a lot on the weekends too, urgh gas prices....

Love the Target story - ha - too funny.

Sundresses at 28. In the South, when it's cold, and people are wearing shorts and sandals, we make comments about them "they must be "snowbirds" from the North." lol!

When I blog again, it looks like I will have a month of bullet point updates.

I really need to stop reading your blog while I'm at work. I literally laughed out loud when I read the comment about your name being called over the loudspeaker at Target! I can see how it could be very easy to forget who you arrived with there!

Have a great time this weekend with your hubs!

I took my 8 year old to the school roller skate tonight and to see him running around with his friends and the girls! Yes the time goes all too fast! I think the push up challenge video is a great idea! =)
