School pics, my video voice audition.......Yep, it's Monday

Random...Aimless...Non-flowing....Disorganized thoughts...It's Monday

Got the school pictures back and I've decided to claim these kids this year. They might even go on the wall......

Speaking of kids. I had a LOAD of them spend the night here on Friday for Reese's birthday party. Loud loud giggly girls. Loud loud giggly girls who never ran out of energy. The evening started by them hauling a chaise lounge off of the deck and turning my family room into a makeshift spa. Their first client-ME! I got the WHOLE treatment. Facial, mask, nails, and then I allowed 11 year olds to do my makeup. One sweet little angel tried to curl my eyelash and severed my eyelid thus abruptly ending the spa party.....We moved on to Dance Dance Revolution in which I was the champion and then Singstar Karaoke in which I was CHEATED.....It was somewhere around this point that my husband made me leave the party. BOO! I later found him downstairs singing Dream Weaver...

Hockey season is once again upon us and this prompted me to look through my previous videos of the kids skating. This particular video I've decided to also use as my audition tape for the movie "Fargo, the sequel" OMG, my voice totally goes with the deer in the swingset. HELP!! Didnya, getcha, thereyago....ignorant redneck....Honestly, I do not talk like this (right people who've heard my voice???) Anyway, it made for some great laughs and also my son is so dang cute here. 4 years old-we would spend almost every day at the rink when I was only working one day a week and his sisters were in school......Ahhh-nostalgia.....

Other random news.....

I spent Saturday making my schedule. My beautiful color coded laminated schedule!! I FINALLY have something to hang in the frame above the piano....This schedule is what will make my life run smoothly for the next 6 months and I tell you, if even one of my family members DARES to deviate from the SCHEDULE, they will feel the wrath!! Kidding...kind of....not really.... I'm working full time, my husband works way more than full time hours(all hours, all days) and my kids are VERY involved. We will be in a hotel EVERY weekend starting next weekend until April. This is going to work SMOOTH as butter.

I did not sleep well on Saturday night AT ALL. Kind of like I was running a marathon the next morning or something...Nervous energy! SUPER Congrats to a great friend who ran an AMAZING marathon Sunday morning for which I celebrated for the rest of the day as if I had actually run the damn thing myself. My legs felt quite good this morning. I might be on to something here! Congrats also to a couple of other great friends who whipped out awesome HM's!!

This weekend is MEA which is a break for kids in Minnesota schools. Joe and Max are going on a little boys trip leaving on Wednesday and I'm heading away with my adult girlfriends for one night and then with my smaller biological girlfriends for the rest of the weekend!

Training news:

*I started week 2 of my long slow painful death at the gym this morning. I am REALLY enjoying this but it's tough. I realize the benefit of having someone push me here as I would DEFINITELY be a little easier on myself:)

*I've been running about 5-6 miles a day the last 2 weeks. No Garmin, easy effort for the most part. I am INCREDIBLY anxious to be back in training. INCREDIBLY anxious but it will come soon enough....In the meantime I'm studying and plotting and planning and reading and building....

OK-back to my desk:) Happy Monday!

You amaze me! Are you being for real when you say a hotel EVERY WEEKEND until April? There is no way I could survive that.

Yes, what Jen said! Seriously, I could not do that! Superwoman you are.
OK, so Max was 4 y old in that video? OMG. My jaw dropped. Amazing. ANd your voice is very loving, particularly at the end:)
Keep up the slow easy running, get that body strong and you will be unstoppable in April, when it matters.

oh i love it, so miss our best family friends from minnesota hearing your voice!! There is just something 'friendly' about a Minnesota accent! I can't believe a 4 year old gets around on the ice like that...amazing little athletes you've got. I know it is life in Minnesota...but still. Not sure how you keep your head on straight with all that you have going on... you are amazing! awesome, school pics btw!!

Gorgeous kids! I hope I can meet them someday, too. I just know They probably sound JUST like you..which is a pretty good thing, I think. :)

I would NOT let anyone else go near my eyes with an eyelash curler. Haha. Janae was not kidding in that little comment.

I know i have said this before, but max is a prodigy. My four year old was watching with his eyes WIDE open...and then we watched 3 or 4 related videos too, haha.

Yes. You are being wise and getting healthy and rebuilding!!!. This is going to take you to a whole new level Jenn. We both have a little work to do if we are going to qualify for NYC with the new standards :D...

Have a great night!

I love that the girls set up a spa and pampered you! Now I kinda can't wait until my daughter has a sleep over!

Hahahah, you sound very Minnesota-y in that voice, totally made me laugh!!!

And the girls' birthday party, too...you just fit in perfectly and not the annoying mom, like I was, and never invited to the girl fun. I'm sure I'll be in therapy for that, amongst other annoying habits I possess. But I'm ok with that. Really. Maybe one day you can teach me to be fun!

You are such a dear, sweet friend to care so much about your racer friends (I know how they are :)) and there with your love and support. You be awesome!!

Happy hockey season!!! :)

I can't believe you'll be away every weekend! It must be exhausting!

Your butt must be feeling a lot better if your'e anxious to start training! Yay!

You have great looking kiddos. Nice video. My husband playes hockey still, therefore I now watch and subsequently love the sport. He would appreciate this video.

It sucks you have to work full time. But I appreciate how expensive having several kids in competitive sports. I'm glad your getting one last weekend of relaxation before the craziness begins.

Glad to hear you're running!

Ok, how fair is it that ALL your kids are simply gorgeous?? That 2nd picture...does it look JUST like your school picture at that age? She looks so much like you!

Your kids are little doll faces! They're all going to be some heartbreakers! Love that you were owning it at your girls party, that is too funny! Can't believe that you let an 11 year old get close to your eyeball...that's rather brave.

Are you working with a trainer at your gym? I'm going garmin free for a bit as well, it's a nice break for the sanity I think. Yesterday I think a turtle passed me, but thats okay.
