The wheels on the bus go round and round!

Off on a charter bus for the state tourney with a HUGE bag of books and a 64 ounce mug of coffee!!! Looking forward to a fantastic weekend! I've promised my husband I won't spend social hour on the treadmill this year and I'm down to relax, cheer, run some, and just have a great time with all my friends and family! It's been a crazy crazy week with working, running, and getting ready to leave and I've been completely out of the blogosphere!! Hoping to catch up with many of you soon!

Last night's run-10 miles/7:31 and I felt GREAT. 40 degrees will do that to a person:)

My hubby and I were reminiscing and looking through old family videos and found this one of my son at 2 years and 1 month in his first week on skates. Oh, I love my current stage of life but how I miss those days.....Disregard my annoying voice:)

Good luck to all those racing this weekend! I'm waiting to read a few PR race reports!!

Ahhhhh - gotta love 40 degrees! Yay!

Strangely enough, I woke up to 60 degrees this morning. So weird! Figures it is the one time I am NOT running on a Thursday morning. Oops!

Have a great weekend!

That is seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen. He skates better at two than I do now. Have fun this weekend.

Remind me NEVER to race you or your son in skates.

Um, yeah...he would seriously do laps around me at two!!

Enjoy the cup of crack while en route to an AWESOME victory!! =D

OMG, I watched that video a few times just to make sure it was real! 2 years old skating like that! WOW! WOW! WOW! I can only imagine what he does now. And I like your voice, it's the voice of a mom loving her son and being proud of it!.

Have a fun trip and enjoy the time with the family and the coffee!

Your voice is NOT annoying! lol

That is seriously cute and amazing! How old was he when he first tried skates? We took Carys for her second birthday and it was like skating with a squid... boneless and limp. I so badly wanted her to at least try to do it. She did love it though. Hope the weekend is awesome!

Yay, 40 degrees! It's a bit too early to officially declare spring though, isn't it? :(
Have fun on your trip this weekend!

aww, I missed this! Oh my! skating like that at 2?!!!! What?! That is like those little 2 year olds that ski. Am I failing my kids because I'm not doing anything to get them in sports like this?! I can't imagine how talented your kids must be...especially having been doing it practically since they could walk.

For some odd reason you weren't on my "follow" list and I thought something was wrong with my Google Reader. It turns out I never hit the follow button! Duh! I just spent a little time getting caught up.

I'm so glad to know your sister's baby is doing well. I'll continue to send prayers, because we all need prayers, in good times and in not so good times!

It looks like you're doing great things! I hope to keep more in tuned to my bloggie friends now that I have a little more time!

Happy running!

Hugs.

I'm with Amanda - I think our kids are missing out on some great opportunities. I know they can do so much more than I think they can. The only thing holding them back is ME!
