Thankyou...

Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for the many prayers and words of encouragement.

Theo is doing much better. A number of scares in the first few hours but he's been stable for the last bit here and seems to be responding well as of late. His daddy is with him and Sarah will hopefully be released to join them by Thursday evening. She's sore and upset but doing remarkably well and we're doing our damndest to keep her spirits up! Her hubby is sending pictures and we're all gooing and gaahing over the little guy!

So, what do sisters do when one of them is in trouble. Well, first of all we head to Redbox and rent a bunch of classless humor and raunch because sad sappy melodrama won't cut it. Then we buy 14 bags of Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, Licorice, Good n'Plenty's, Chips, Popcorn, even Diet Coke which I never drink. (Then we remember sister in question is on a liquid diet so we will have to eat this all ourselves). We drag the folding lawnchairs out of the rafters in the garage and make a theater out of a hospital room. Also, one of us doesn't even bat an eye that they're missing a speed workout....Life is precious. You only get one....

I missed the last post, but I am SO sorry. Glad to hear things have improved, but I know the worry and concern must be terrible. Thinking of you and your family...

Beautiful woman you are! Sounds exactly the way sisters should come together in a time like this. Any girl would be lucky to have you as a sister Jenn! Yet another post that reaffirms why I like you so much.

I don't have a sister, but if I had, I would want her to be just like you:) Glad all is well!

Sounds like my family in a crisis... My brother in law had a horrible accident a few years ago- we spent weeks in the hospital with him- and dozens of friends and family coming in and out. Every night we'd all gather round for an EPIC feast cooked by my mom, contraband beers in plastic cups, and candy (all consumed either in his room, or in the waiting area- the hospital staff got to know us well!) With all the amazing support he was out of the hospital months earlier than expected- so we totally believe in the power of good vibes/prayer whatever people use! (we also believe in the power of lots of food...)
BEST wishes to your family- thinking of them all the way from the northeast...

I would have brought Dairy Queen because my sister is an ice cream freak. :) My sister was there for me during all my crazing delivery issues and I appreciated it more than anything in the world! I'm sure your sister feels the same!

Wishing and willing that things keep looking up :)

What a wonderful family you all share! Such great LOVE! I hope my kids will feel that when they are grown.

(of course I want to know what y'all chose for classless humor and raunch)

I'm so glad things are doing better! We kind of had a scare like that this summer with my cousin (as close as my sister) and her baby had to have the cooling cap to prevent brain damage due to a lack of oxygen for awhile...but now she is normal and wonderful. Prayers are amazing and miracles happen. I'm so glad things are going well and I'll continue to pray that things keep doing well!

JENN! I just read your last post and then this one! I'm so sorry I'm behind in my reading!! I am glad little Theo is improving, and I'm sure your sister is so happy to have you right by her side. You are such an amazing sister. Oh...and I'm calling you next time a crisis hits...treats and a movie make anyone feel better! I'll keep your family in my prayers! xoxoxo

I just read your last post too and cried. My first was an emergency C-section under GA. We were lucky though, Kaylee was just fine, but it was still a traumatic experience. I had a lot anxiety getting ready to give birth to number 2.

I'm glad Theo is doing better. He and mom will be in my prayers.

Awww man, Jenn, I was so busy boo-hooing an email to you about my sucky life and missed the post about Theo. I am so very sorry, but glad he is stable now and holding his own. Being strong (with junk food galore - no other choice there!!) will definitely help one another. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family!

I hope you girls enjoy your sister sit-in with the comedies. Nothing like some good gut-busting humor to bring people together.

Still sorry about the circumstances, but so so so glad that you could be there for her, her hubby and theo.

4 pounds something is pretty good, really :) He's gonna be great in no time and she will be too as soon as she can have him to herself.

You are a great sister!
