Thursday night tidbits!

So- I'm half spun out as I write this because I just came from my work Christmas party and downed 3 glasses of wine! I love love love my office and this is the funnest party I've been too in the past 7 years. My cheeks hurt from laughing! My husband is absolutely the funniest guy I have ever met. Honestly, I could not imagine what the world would be like without him as he is always the life of the party!!! Unfortunately, he had to head out of town this evening so the party ended at 9:00pm.

Because this blog never has much of a point and always contains a bunch of random junk I'm going to stick with the theme and just list some stuff!

I stole songs from my daughters Itunes library today. Do I have a sick gutter mind or is the Brittney Spears Song "3" about what I think it is about???

I went to my 6th graders Christmas program today. She told me nothing about it. Turns out she had a major part and did an awesome job! I kept looking at her and couldn't believe how old she was! What happened to my baby!!!!

I got all dressed up for my party tonight. My middle daughter Reese came out of her room and commented "You look so pretty mommy, I love your shirt" My son saw me and commented "What's wrong with your eyes?" I said, "What do you mean, what does it look like is wrong with my eyes?" He responded "You look like a football player!" I about died laughing and asked "Do I look like a good football player?" He said "No, you look like a Packer!!!" Being from Minnesota, being referenced as a Green Bay Packer is not a good thing! Apparently, I should wear makeup more often as not to frighten the boy....

I ran outside again today. I was planning for 6 at 8:27. Before I started I thought I would try to squeeze in 7 if I had enough time. It was 16 degrees and sunny! In all actuality, it was gorgeous out. The sun was shining and there was only about a 5mph wind. The road was a little icy so I had to be a little cautious and spent a great deal of time looking down. I finished 7 in 55:15 (7:53). I tried to keep my pace down since I plan to run longer tomorrow but again I'm throwing the plan to the wind and taking advantage of my outside time and running by feel instead of my watch.

Heading out of town once again tomorrow for Ryan's hockey! She will play the 2nd ranked team in the state of MN tomorrow night! I can't wait to see how she steps up to the plate!!

Have a great night!

I have to tell ya, out of all the running blogs I read...yours is my favorite. I relate so much to your life, but crazy jealous of your running abilities!! :)

Oh, and I have a dear friend in MN, and can't believe the weather you deal with!!! (I'm in Oklahoma!)

The Packer comment breaks my heart. Don't worry, your son can still learn that he should be a Packer fan. ;) Enjoy the "warm" temps.

I am about to go out in 17 degrees for my long run. LOL
Kids are so funny. The difference btw what your daughter and son said is so telling! Nice job on the run. Sometimes it's a good thing to go by feel. Sounds like you are faster than your program tells you to be:)
