Accent Vlog aka Jenn's annoying voice on video:)

So, I've never done a video before. I do however, LOVE seeing other people's pictures and videos so I figured I better get in the game! I saw this post awhile back and thought I would give it a shot! I love how I'm staring a hole through the white piece of paper even though it only has the words and sentences on it:)

List of Words:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught

Questions:

* What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?

* What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?

* What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?

* What do you call gym shoes?

* What do you say to address a group of people?

* What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?

* What do you call your grandparents?

* What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?

* What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?

* What is the thing you change the TV channel with?

Training news:
I had to drag my husband out to pace me for my run yesterday because I could NOT seem to do it on my own. I even surrendered the Garmin to him and although I changed my planned run (he hates what he calls complicated workouts) we got a good tempo in. (not necessarily good at the time as I almost lost a lung and he nearly divorced me) Turns out when we're running and I ask pace, he says 7:10 but mistakenly means 6:41 half the time. LIAR and reason #246 why we don't run together. Disclaimer*if you are reading my blog for the first time, I do love my husband, (this is obvious) thoroughly enjoy his company, but we generally don't run together.

I am back in the ditch trail and wore SHORTS 2 days! Likely a tease from Mother Nature....

I am heading out on my bike now! I'm in my stretch of 3 weeks without work. My kids are in school, my husband is working or sleeping during the day which means I get to do WHATEVER I want for 3 weeks! LOVE it:)

Happy Hump Day All!

I loved seeing this! You sound just a tad Sarah Palinesque but are way more adorable.
Hilarious about the pacing with your hubby!

Love the video! I can't run with my husband. We've tried, it just doesn't work. He is so wonderful but he only knows how to run waaay too fast for about 20 minutes and then collapse. GREAT for a 5K, not so much when he tries to join me for a 10 mile easy run.

This is hilarious!!!!!
What language are you even speaking?
You’re Canadian huh? Where in Canada? And why don’t they speak English there?

3 WHOLE weeks??? I'm so excited for you. You're going to get even leaner and fitter than ever...but rest, too! Read a book, plant some flowers...don't clean your house!!
For some reason my runs with my husband have become pretty competitive now that he is getting so fit. Actually, it's kind of fun(but NOT ALL the time). One can only race their husband once a week or so, right?
**I may email you for some confidence injections. Is that o kay???

You are way braver than I ...I too did not know you are Canadian....but I figure from Manitoba as you have run the Manitoba Marathon????

Oh, I so loved seeing this! I feel like this is a missing piece to our growing virtual relationship. ha ha. You definitely have an accent when you're not trying not to. But it is cute! And you look GREAT! The painting in the background...did Reese or Ryan do that or did you do it? or what? Love the colors! I wish I could come over to hang out with you but this was the next best thing.

Hey, I noticed that Quinton J commented on your blog...does he have a blog or an e-mail? I never can respond to him because his link doesn't show that he has a link.

MOre later...I'm a little frazzled right now without a phone I know how to use and my Garmin being broken. :( Boo

LOVE your accent! I visited a bunch of on line friends in Florida once - they were all from Alabama and Georgia I had serious trouble understanding a lot of what they said due to their crazy accents and how they used other words for things....like calling shopping cart a buggy.

The funny thing was they couldn't get over MY accent. And here I thought I didn't have one :D

Love it! Our best family friends are from Minnesota...your accent makes me miss them! I knew I liked you...I'm a 'rolly polly' girl and my husband is a potato bug guy and he has convinced the kids of it as well. Not okay! ;)

I can't see your video at work (whaaa, but I will check it tonight at home) but it's gotta be less dorky than mine cuz you're less dorky and are just do stinking cute!! :)

I've been wearing shorts here on my bike rides for about 5 weeks...just to let you know - I know, I'm a big loser to rub that in, huh? :)

Enjoy your3-weeks of freedom!!! JEALOUS!

Great video! I think you have an accent, but you say almost everything on the list how I would say it. You are so cute!

Love the hubby-training story!

No, no, no, you do not sounds like SP. Nothing about you is even remotely close to SP. (Hope this helps:)

Loved the video. I can't sense an accent - well, I can't sense anyone's accent, ha, ha, I wonder why???

I am jealous of your 3 weeks off. My work is so busy now, good but busy, I am always on a go. Enjoy the biking and maybe you'll become a triathlete?

you are too cute! I didn't know you are Canadian either.

uhhh, I don't think I can do a video....not many Southern bloggers, and everyone would claim that i have an accent or something. Ha!

Enjoy your 3 wks of freedom.

I can't keep up with my hubby and he is out of shape. I recently told him in a few more years, I will be able to run with him. Ha!

holy CUTE! oh my, that was so fun to watch. you do have a serious accent there, you betcha. i figure my accent must be some sort of muddled mess at this point, being from the east coast and living in the midwest.

i can not run with my husband either. his legs are too dang long. there's no way i can keep up--it's just not physically possible. but, he tore his achilles a few years ago playing volleyball and hasn't taken up running again since, so i don't have to try to keep up ( : and, my legs wouldn't go 6:47, so there'd be no need to ask for the pace!!

did a little more "catching up" with your blog and was so excited to read about the 5k pr.

Ha - I had said many times, about my most recent 3:51 marathon time that it would be easier to accept 3:56 or higher than 3:51 - 1 minute away from another BQ. It will bug me a little until I correct it....to be continued (ha!)

congrats! proud of you for racing some 5ks and I'm happy you found a runner friend. I've been doing way too much solo running lately. I miss having a running partner. Maybe the slower long run will work to your advantage.

I have to bookmark this post so that I can listen when we get home next week... I can't wait to hear what you sound like!

I have a hard time running with my very-beloved husband, too ;-)

love this post! I've been reading your blog for a long time but somehow I missed that you're from Canada. How is that possible?!

When my husband and I run, he always is a step or two ahead of me. I'm too slow for him. The sad thing is, I'm the runner of the two of us and he's the muscle head! ;)

You sound just like a few of the people I grew up with. We did not get many Canadians in my hometown, but your accent is not foreign to me. I keep meaning to do this...someday.
