Hardcore, Badass, BEOTCH!!

SO, there's NO secret how much I admire this woman!! Definitely one of the most motivating people for me in this virtual world! So often I've wished I could train with her, or maybe she could just BE my trainer rather-ha!! Not only is she an AMAZING athlete with crazy wicked determination, she's an EXCELLENT training resource, a great encourager and a generous friend as she has offered to allow me to be her human fuel belt in Boston next year.... I will put on my shoe chip, then ride on her back, carry her gels and water, and finish the Boston marathon in sub 3:10!!! I'm confident that although I weigh more than her, her killer quads can handle it!!! (My memory is a little skewed here, maybe I just volunteered and she didn't offer.....)

ANYWAY, this weekend she's racing the Patriot HIM. She has worked SO hard for this, is TOTALLY ready and I'm SO EXCITED FOR HER!!!! If my math is correct for a short time we will actually be running at the same time! Kinda like running with a good friend only she will be kicking my ass after already completing 57 some odd miles of crosstraining!!

In true fashion Max and I got working on our mural. If you look closely there is a teeny tiny Ana Maria running and another teeny tiny Ana Maria swimming! I'm not sure this is a tri-bike and it kinda looks like it should have a big padded seat, a basket and a horn on the front but it came from the heart-ha ha!!!

BEST OF LUCK Ana Maria!

*Oh-and hoping you don't meet any animals in your path like the one next to me. I was too fortunate to come home from work to see it hanging on my wall yesterday! Yeah-that's a story in itself......

Ana Maria and Badass definitely go together. And I've always said she is hardcore even though she tried to deny it once or twice. I don't think she'll be able to deny it anymore. Love this girl and so glad she's sharing her wisdom with the world! Gooooo AM! I'll be following you and Jen and can't wait to hear the news. Don't leave us hanging!! Both of you!!

She is one of my very favorites too!! Always been SUCH a great resource for me and huge encourager. I LOVED getting to run with her for a few miles THIS week last year when I was in Boston :)

You BOTH are amazing women, runners and mothers and give me something to look up to when/if somedays I become a mom. THANK YOU!

Kill it ladies!

OMG, I am blushing over here. I had Chris read this and ...well, I won't post what he said:)

Thanks Jenn! This is so very sweet of you. I will say, however, that I am counting on you to pull me through at Boston. YOU are the marathoner here, one that is also starting to discover that her legs have major speed even for shorter distances.

You are pretty amazing Jenn. You always make me laugh and your encouragements at key points have helped so much! Thank You! Oh, and I will certainly book mark this post and come back here when my self confidence goes down. Must.Live.Up.To.The.Image:)

OK, lets go get them on Saturday:)

I love this Boston Idea. Can I jump on her back too? It might help me save a toenail :)
I'll even carry a long straw so that no one has to carry extra water :)

Seriously, you both deserve each other! I love the comraderie and the fact that you bring out the best in each other. I can't wait to see her rock her HIM and you to blast Grandma's out of the park!

Oh...and i noticed the deer head before I even read a word...just couldn't help it. That's mighty fine. MIGHTY fine, Joe. :) Looks like the vaccuum cleaner has a new dusting duty. hahhaha. Just start a new safari room and you have a new place to hang the snow suits in winter!!

once again, I'm slightly behind on the blog world, but I had to take a minute to pull up your blog today to say GOOD LUCK my friend.

Your training has been amazing! Your training has hit new highs, and you have already had an amazing year.

Go Jenn Go!
