New Gratitude List

OK, so I've had the same list posted on my bulletin board and I'm not longer thankful for any of those things! Kidding but it's time for an update!

-I am so thankful that my husband went to the laundromat while I was at work and did all the laundry today! My dryer is broken and still waiting on yet another warrantied part!! I would never wash clothes the way he does but as long as they are folded and put in the drawers I am thankful!!!

-My son was very sad when I couldn't go skating with him today. I am thankful he still enjoys spending time with me and I'm still a "cool" mom in his eyes!!

-My kids gave me their Christmas lists and they want UnderArmour headbands and colored bobby pins instead of new computers and Iphones!

-I got an unexpected bonus at work and I'm very thankful I have such an AWESOME boss!!

-My super awesome carefree friends who keep my life in perspective and lift me up when I'm down in the dumps!!!!!

-Not thankful for the extended weather forecast but super thankful for the last couple months of unseasonably warm weather!!

-Super thankful my mom has made a commitment to lose weight and get physically fit. I would obviously love her either way but I'm so happy to see her taking a step in a healthier direction!!

-Very thankful for my husband's work ethic. Although I continually complain to him (because he can take it) about being a workoholic and his hectic work schedule I am sooo thankful that we have the opportunities we do because of him!!!

-I am once again so thankful for my family who is perfect in every way in my eyes!!

Happy Thanksgiving all!!

This is such a wonderful list! So many things to be thankful for and several of them are every day things! It's great when we can stop and realize how thankful we are for little things.

About 10 years ago my mom decided to make a change and joined weight watchers. She's lost over 80lbs, is no longer on high blood pressure meds, and leaves a much more healthy and active life. She's been an inspiration to me and it's great to know that she'll be around for many, many more years! I understand how happy you are about your own mother's decision to live healthier!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I love clean & folded laundry... especially when I don't have to do it!

Your kids sound awesome! I love their Christmas list. Sooo cool!

Bonus? You must be one of the few who get those lately. Congratulations for that!!

Thank you for the kind words on my blog. You're experience with what you were training at, your goal pace and you're actual pace made me feel better.

Hi - found your blog through Rebecca's. It's great! Love your "Gratitude" - I have been doing that do and blogging about. It's important to remember the good things -even if only 1 or 2 at the end of a day (especially a crappy day ;) )
